Christian Stellakis

Christian is a polished communications strategist with nearly a decade of experience in public affairs, research, media relations, and reputation management. He's an expert at helping organizations of all sizes navigate complex policy environments, engage key stakeholders, and craft compelling narratives that shift perception and cut through the noise.
Before joining J Strategies, Christian was the Director of Media and Public Relations at the Commonwealth Foundation—Pennsylvania’s free-market think tank—spearheading the nonprofit’s communications strategy. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Director at The Herald Group, leading national campaigns for clients across America's most heavily regulated industries—from financial services to healthcare, tech to legal reform.
Christian also served at the National Republican Congressional Committee, the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, and John Katko’s NY-24 congressional campaign. At the NRCC, he managed research for over a dozen races throughout the United States, including several in New York.
Christian is a New York native and holds a B.A. in economics from Hamilton College. He resides in Washington, D.C.
