Duties

  • Draft letters, media materials, and social media posts

  • Take detailed notes in meetings

  • Research

  • Educate and organize advocates to support client policy initiatives

  • Support account leads on client accounts

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in advocacy, public affairs, government affairs, and/or politics

  • Willingness to study and learn about legislation

  • Following and being able to discuss politics,

    government, and current events is essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be proficient in internet research,

  • Google Business Suite, Microsoft Teams/Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Zoom, social media platforms

  • Quickly able to learn new technology such as bill tracking, media tracking, and contacts database

    Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
